Responsible for projects and campaigns with multiple media and creative elements that support client digital launches, including management of resources across multiple internal and external teams, disciplines and various project types with client contact. Requiring a range of skills to support each client and team objectives, by directing resource teams on each client project.

Also, retouching catalog and website photography for high-end clients under strict deadlines. Troubleshooting/coding/decoding basic HTML code, overseeing logistics and installations on multiple projects, artist files and day to day operations. Social Media content creation was always in the works.

Road Show Revival: Pinup Competition / Event Photographer

In charge of and running the Pinup photography for the event. Split into 2 segments, portrait photography and a posing shoot out on classic cars. The portrait round consisted of all pinups having 5 minutes to give me their best poses within a studio lighting setup. Second round was shot outdoors with 3 photographers (including myself). Each photographer having 5 minutes a pinup to shoot their very best on top of, in or along side a classic car.

Astra Dance Theatre: Fake Off Season 2 TruTV Network 

Being hired to work and live with dancers for 3 months in Georgia, designing on the fly graphics and motion graphics for a reality TV show. The other artist and VFX Supervisor crumbled under the extreme stress and deadlines (24/7 realistically). With a drive not to fail and let down a team of people I’ve never met; I did ALL the motion graphics, was onset directing the production crew, doing tech and basically running the entire backend of post-production. Yes, I can handle quite a heavy load and be very successful.

 Experience 

  • Effectively communicated VFX recommendations and needs while demonstrating savvy in on-set etiquette
  • Usage of green screen / blue screen set-up and photography
  • Obtained relevant set measurements and various kind of reference material, including photographic reference, HDRIs, projection mapping and asset libraries

The Los Angeles Film School : 3D Lighting/Shading and VFX 

As a short term instructor, I trained students on practices and theories of lighting and shading as well as executing these concepts through simple projects. This same instruction method was carried over into their continuance class of VFX.

 Experience 

  • Taught technical and artistic principles of 3D Lighting and Shading including light sets, color theory, shader creation, rendering techniques as well as simple visual effects.
  • Brought industry best practices of the 3D VFX curriculum and current workflows in the trade.
  • Mentor students in the VFX process; guide students in all aspects of developing a body of work for employment in VFX facilities.

Warner Bros. Animation : Beware The Batman 

At Warner Brothers Animation I oversaw testing theories of VFX shots while working with a newly developing pipeline. The constraints and demands from the art direction coupled with standardization of these procedures proved to be an interesting challenge on the newly waited Batman animated series.

 Experience 

  • Researched, designed and developed production pipeline tools and shaders in support of the CG animated television series.
  • Assisted animators and artists with troubleshooting production issues in asset creation and shot production across the shaders networks as required.
  • Supported and worked with multiple departments, including Modeling, Animation, Lighting, VFX, and R&D.

Rareform Pictures: Wallenda 

It was my duty to teach interns the best skills and practices when addressing shots. Also, to mold them into what the studio needed from each of the artists, helping to refine and encourage self-discovery through the teach and release method. Creating reports and highlighting the best and worst performers was also extremely routine.
